Hoppo
A few years ago, Hoppo found himself at Kershaw County Humane Society after he escaped his home. His owner came to KCHS to reclaim him and told us that he had found Hoppo almost dead on the side of the road and had mended him up. So, we neutered him and vetted him as a thank you for doing right by Hoppo.
As 2021 came to an end, Hoppo found himself back at KCHS. Our last medical rescue of 2021, he came back to us blind with a bullet under the skin on his back. Hoppo’s left eye had to be removed along with the bullet, and we ended our New Years Eve tending to his urgent medical needs and contacting rescue partners to see if we could help Hoppo have the life he deserved!
A wonderful rescue group took Hoppo in, and then he was placed with his forever family in April 2022! Now, he is living his best life in a home where he is happy, loved, and secure. When life seemed to keep giving Hoppo lemons, he found a way to make lemonade. Happy Tails, Hoppo!
