Perry

Perry

Found deserted and alone in an abandoned trailer in Kershaw County, this pint-sized white puppy was caked in fleas and filth. On the brink of starvation, “Perry” was brought to our staff at Kershaw County Humane Society where we sprang into action. We immediately began life-saving measures in hopes of giving this tiny miracle a fighting chance. Like so many other animals who are severely malnourished, Perry was given a Rickets diagnosis. We knew that due to the state of emaciation and malnourishment that he was in, he wasn’t guaranteed survival. Once one of our rescue partner’s heard Perry’s story, they stepped in and assisted with his rehabilitation. After months of caring and working with sweet Perry, he was finally healthy and stable enough to look for a family to call his own. On October 24th, 2019 Perry found his forever home, and is now living his best life in a family where he is completely adored. Happy Tails!

At Kershaw County Humane Society, we believe every animal deserves a story with a happy ending. If you want to give another dog or cat a happy tail of their own, click here to view our available pets!
