Rambo

Rambo was three years old when he arrived at the shelter. Housetrained, neutered, heartworm negative, and kid-friendly, you’d think that he would be snatched up quickly! Despite his friendly demeanor, he kept getting overlooked by adopters, as many black bullies do. The 83 lb hunk of love waited patiently for months on the adoption floor, and staff grew worried that he may never find a loving home. Desperately, the staff at KCHS posted a plea for Rambo’s adoption on Facebook. His lovable disposition caught the attention of hundreds of people, and his post was quickly shared over 200 times. Thankfully, Rambo caught the eye of one person in particular. On the last Saturday Rambo was going to be available for adoption, his future owner arrived at KCHS to meet him! It was love at first sight, and Rambo’s life was truly saved. The staff at KCHS is so grateful for those who are willing to open their hearts and homes to a dog in need. Now, Rambo is able to spend the rest of his life in the loving home that he needed all along! Happy Tails!
